Just like Aaron Ramsey, seems Arsenal are set to let another squad member leave
Arsenal have only just announced the withdrawal of a contract renewal for Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey and already reports are stating the North London club are set to let Danny Welbeck join the midfielder at the end of his contract.
Welbeck arrived at Arsenal from Manchester United in 2014, but has had a rocky ride in his career majorly due to injuries.
The 28 year old forward is expected to be unavailable for most of the season after breaking his ankle in the Europa League draw with Sporting Lisbon last month.
Joe reports that Welbeck failed to agree a new deal with Arsenal last year, the club deciding against extending his stay when he entered into the final 12 months of his current deal. Though the club are said to be sympathetic towards his current injury situation, they have not changed their stance on his contract
Danny Welbeck will join the list of players who were denied a contract renewal by Arsenal due to Injury cases, just like Aaron Ramsey, Santi Cazorla and Abou Diaby.
Unai Emery has started strongly at Arsenal and is looking to bolster the squad with new signings, meaning the manager will have to let players surplus to requirements leave the club at the end of their current contract and that includes Danny Welbeck.
