Thomas Tuchel still undecided on starting eleven to face Liverpool despite breaking psg record with win over saint Etienne
Seems like it’s going to be another one-sided season as French champions Psg and Tuchel picked up yet another win as they went six points clear on the league table.
Psg made a slow start to the fixture but goals from J. Draxler (22), E. Cavani (Pen, 51), A. Di Maria (76) and M. Diaby (84) ensured the champions were only but cruising at the sound of the final whistle.
Neymar was rested, while Kylian Mbappe was serving his suspension after picking up a red card last time as psg went clear at the top of the table on 15 points with the next team Dijon currently on 9 points.
Thomas Tuchel set a record at psg in the process by winning his first six games at the club, including a 4-0 demolition of Monaco, a 3-0 win over Caen, 3-1 win over guingamp, 3-1 win over angers and 4-2 win over mines. Carlo Ancelotti was the last manager to hold the record for the most wins at the start of his psg reign.
Despite the commanding win over saint Etienne, Thomas Tuchel reveal he is undecided on the team to face Liverpool in their champions league encounter on Tuesday.
“I know 10,” Tuchel said about his starting eleven for the trip to Anfield.
“Not yet the 11th and I do not know my game system.”
