Former Manchester city Manager Manuel Pellegrini and Westham currently sit bottom on the league table and fans are not happy about it.
Westham are currently rocking bottom on the premier league table with no point from the first four games and conceding ten goals so far, the hammers look famished and certain to remain in relegation zone if nothing changes and quick.
Manuel Pellegrini has suffered defeat at the hands of Liverpool (4-0), AFC Bournemouth (1-2), Arsenal (3-1) and Wolverhampton wanderers (0-1) and a big question mark has been raised about the competence of the manager.
Manuel Pellegrini’s job is currently not under any serious threat according to reports but the former Manchester city manager would have to provide results and fast if he is to outrun the inevitable.
The hammers negative eight goal difference is only matched by Huddersfield Town who currently sit three places above them in seventeenth on the league table with two points so far.
Westham and Pellegrini travel to Everton this weekend for the matchday 5 premier league fixture and the manager would be hoping to steal his first point of the season.
Everton currently sit seventh on the league table on six points after a win against Southampton and three draws against Wolverhampton, Bournemouth and Huddersfield Town.
While Everton is definitely not the ideal opponents for a struggling Westham at the moment, it’s a chance for the manager to show how well and how far he can take the team, and a loss would all but dampen any intent of goodwill for Manuel Pellegrini at the club.
